About The Resort..
Morzine Resort Information
Morzine is a traditional year round mountain resort and is very popular with the British who love its charm. Very much a family resort with plenty of restaurants and bars. There is an excellent bus service that helps you get around the place. It is easy to get to but is sometimes a little difficult to navigate around the one way system with all the hotel mini buses. It rarely suffers from bad weather days and is very popular in Summer. There are a lot of chalet style buildings and we would recommend staying in or near the centre close to one of the gondolas. Top tip:The little-used Ardent gondola, a short drive from Morzine, is a good choice to start your day from because you can get onto the Port Du Soleil circuit whilst missing Avoriaz and the potential queues.

Reviews
Morzine is a pretty French town with character, good hotels and restaurants with lovely food. Ok I am biased because we tend to go there most years and it is where the children learned to ski with the British Alpine School. We can’t recommend it enough and in good weather it is brilliant. If it raining which it does a bit head up a little higher to Avoriaz where it is likely to be snowing. Please thank the staff at Le Caribou who are first rate.

We love Morzine and have a brilliant time there every year. We often stay at the hotel Les Airelles as it is clean, comfortable and has good food too. The resort is lively and is great fun. We were lucky with the snow and the pistes weren’t too crowded either…definitely recommend this resort. It is great fun all year round. We’ll be back again next year Snowbrainer for the ski and snowboard hire for all the family!
