About The Resort..
El Tarter Ski Resort
El Tarter along with Pas de La Casa, Soldeu, Canillo and Encamp are all part of the Grand Valira. All the mountains are linked making it one of the largest ski areas in Europe. Low prices, good ski schools an exceptional nightlife make it a place the Brits love. El Tarter itself is a little spread out with no real centre. You will also find El Tarter has slightly less nightlife than other places in Andorra.

About The Mountain
Ski El Tarter
The local slopes are on the open mountains are perfect for skiing and snowboarding above the woods and there is a brand new gondola. Most of the time you can ski back down to the village at the end of the day. There are lots of areas for beginners and the mountain links into the other resorts of the Gran Valira. Much investment has been made to link these fields. Maybe limited excitement for advanced skiers but intermediates will enjoy a varied day.
Snowboarders - there is a good park sponsored by Nike AGC which should keep all boarders happy. It consists of 3 great kickers with smaller side kicks. Perfectly shaped to boot! There is a 120m half pipe, a selection of rails and a big wall ride. A 1/4 pipe and gigantic spine ad to the pleasures. Look out for Jamie Phillips and Tyler Chorlton the British Pro Snowboarder who is often seen in the park. ps - they are both quite useful!
Beginners There is some great terrain for beginners to start and then develop their skiing and kids will love the disney run at the top of the El Tarter Gondola.
The local Ticket office and information desk for El Tarter is (+376) 890 532 The El Tarter sector has two ski-pass sales offices. One is located next to El Tarter s cable car access. The other is in the group of buildings that El Tarter's chairlift passes through.
Love this film - it won the Vans Film Awards 2009 El Tarter Andorra

Reviews
I would like to just say how cheap Soldeau / El Tarter is. Great value for money, excellent ski schools and we were also lucky enough to get enough snow. Your Ski Calbo shop was first rate with excellent knowledgeable staff. Thank you. Look forward to going back to Andorra for Xmas next year.
