About The Resort..
Skiing Nendaz
Nendaz is part of the 4 valleys although it is not as easy to ski the vast area as one would like. To get to Verbier takes about an hour. Benefits include low prices with great views of the Rhone Valley. Modern resort build in a traditional chalet style. Nendaz is a relatively big resort however, it is relatively unknown with skiers and boarders in Britain. Nendaz is much cheaper than nearby Verbier and the transfers from Sion are pretty quick at only 20 minutes. The structure of Nendaz is pretty modern however it has been built in a traditional Alpine chalet style; however there is a chapel in the village of Nendaz that dates back 1499.

About The Mountain
Nendaz Ski
Access via Siviez to 412 km of pistes - take the free ski bus. Snow reliability is good as it sits on North Facing slopes. Watch out for the queues at Siviez when thrying to get home at the end of the day.
For beginners there are nursery slopes high above Nendaz at 2200m on the frozen lake at Tracouet. You'll need to take a gondola to get up there but the views are great.
For Intermediates there is about 220km of terrain to explore in the local Printz ski region including the resort runs of Nendaz, Siviez, Thyon and Veysonnaz. There are some great descents through tree lined trails and the views are something to see. If you are looking for more of a challenge head over to the Verbier/Mont Fort where the glacier assures you great snow and more challenges.
Snowboarders - Nendez offer a snowpark for boarders that includes a twin table, kickers, hips, wall rides, box and various rails. The resort is popular with boarders and we recommend heading over to the steep powdery slopes in the Verbier/Mont Fort area for some challenges.
Nendaz has a wide selection of shops to suit all the family; from great fashion shops to sports shops for all your ski and snowboard needs as well as the obligatory souvenir shop that all ski resorts should have! They are also a number of food shops including a fromagerie and a fantastic patisserie!

Reviews
Nendaz is in a great location in the centre of the 4 valleys and this was one of the reasons we chose to ski here as Nendaz had come highly recommended to us. We skied Verbier without paying the exorbitant prices…what a result. We had some great nights at the Canadian Bar with live bands, dancing and great atmosphere! The skiing and snowboarding was awesome – cheers for sorting out the Rossignol Bandits for us!
