Ortisei
Ortisei is one of the three main towns of Val Gardena, the others being San Cristina and Selva Gardena. It is a lively tourist resort with many shops and boutiques in the traffic free centre. There is easy connections to ski and various excursions areas of Seceda, Alpe di Siusi and Rasciesa. Listen out for the local dialect Ladin.
