 A small resort where the Val di Fiemme and the Val di Travgnola meet. From Predazzo it is easy to reach the ski fields of Latemar from the cable car. There are around 50km of runs with night skiing at Obereggen an added attraction. The ski area Latemar belongs to the extraordinary Dolomite Superski - twelve ski areas linked together by a unique skipass in the Val di Fiemme. There are also 100km of cross country tracks

Nordic Walking and Snowshoe walking
The relaxing and beautiful mountains of Val di Fiemme offer many trails for snowshoe walking alone or organised with a guide. On the outskirts of Fiemme’s towns are also groomed trails for Nordic walking, the healthy and highly effective full body training without big effort.
Its good to know that if you have a skipass valued for 2 days or more you can have free admission to the indoor swimming pool in Predazzo.

Fiemme Ski Jazz festival occurs every March for about 10 days taking place in intimate venues such as theaters and also out on the slopes. |

 Cross CountryAs part of the Val di Fiemme, Predazzo has access to some excellent cross country skiing Fiemme’s cross country scene with two well equipped cross country centres, over 150 km of tracks, winding through the forests and fantastic views on the Dolomites was twice venue of the Nordic world ski championships (1991 and 2003).
The cross country centre of Passo Lavazè/Oclini, is appreciated for its beautiful panorama and good altitude (1600–2150m)
The cross country centre in Lago di Tesero, illuminated for night skiing, boasts the most modern facilities and has the the world championships’ tracks to try out.
Other cross country tracks features Bellamonte at 1400m and joins then the valley floor of Predazzo, Ziano, Masi and Molina.
The Marcialonga track stretches fromMolina to Predazzo.
Downhill skiing
The valley, stretching for 35 km over North-East Trentino, has eleven characteristic tourist towns, set amid the Dolomite peaks of Pale di San Martino, Latemar and the Lagorai mountain chain.
The Skipass Fiemme/Obereggen, covers five ski areas:
- Alpe Cermis, with access from Cavalese
Skicenter Latemar, with access from Predazzo, Pampeago and Obereggen Alpe Lusia, with access from Bellamonte-Castelir or Moena Passo Rolle Passo Lavazè-Oclini
Skiing in Val di Fiemme means, more than 100 km of slopes With one single skipass it’s possible to ski every day in a different ski resort of Val di Fiemme or in the Dolomiti Superski area with 1220 km of runs and 460 lift facilities.
All ski resorts are good for children, where cosy ski kindergardens, snow parks and first step school camps, enable them to progress quickly.
The Dolomites are also well know for its sunny weather. An average of 8 days out of 10, skiers have sunshine or so the advert for cats used to tell us!
