Description: The resort is a mile down the road from Montchavin and shares the same pistes. It's got a pretty traffic free centre.

Little queues and lots of off piste in the right conditions are available. Linked with Hochzillertal via the lift system opens up 155km of pistes! The town of Fugen is 8 miles away and is good for a day off from the slopes.

Description: A picture postcard village famous for its summers. The Grimentz ski slope above Bendolla go along the Becs De Bosson upto and altitude of 3000m with the most amazing views. As for the village please try the varieties of wine which is maturing in the amazing oak barrells. The oldest wine is 125 years old

Description: Fieberbrunn is one of the 5 municipalities that make up the Pillerseetal. The name Fieberbrum means farewell and it got its name in 1354 after a princess was healed by taking the waters. The resort is very pretty and a lovely place for a family winter holiday.


Oetz, Austria


Description: Oetz is a small but attractive area to ski for beginners and early intermediates. An 8 person gondola takes you to the top in 8 minutes from the base where you will find a decent sized carpark. It is located on the road to Solden and Obergurgl and is considered a family resort.


Bernex, France


Description: Traditional buildings make this a charming mountain village resort, very close to the Swiss Border. It is 60km from Lausanne and more importantly 50km from Geneva. It is part of the Haute Savoie region.


St Gervais, France


Description: St Gervais sits with Mount Blanc towering over it at 4810m. It's a 19th Century spa town half way between Megeve and Chamonix.


Combloux, France


Description: Combloux is only 4 km from glitzy Megeve but is a lot cheaper whilst also looking over the stunning Mont Blanc. Chamonix is a further 30km away. Parking is free and there are 2 large car parks at the base of the station

San-Isidro, Spain




Gresse en Vercors, France


Description: Gresse en Vercors is 45 minutes from Grenoble and is what we would call a family field. It is famous in WWII for bing at the forefront of the Resistance and is located at the foot of Large Veymont.


Puy St Vincent 1400, France


Description: Puy St Vincent is situated in Les Ecrins, the largest park in France with a staggering 92000 acres. The year round resort is split into two levels, 1400 and 1600m. Puy 1600 is larger than 1400 and a better location for lift access. Sadly there is a bit of a concrete block right in the middle which is a little ugly! Puy 1400 is the more relaxed of the two resorts and really a sweet little hamlet. Nearby you will find other hamlets like Le Villaret, Les Pres, Les Albers and the original village Le PUy with its churches. When you arrive at your chosen accommodation you will be given a Guest card which give syou some good discounts on ski school, lift passes, the cinema and numerous other activities


Le Collet d Allevard, France


Description: A family resort with modest prices to match it is located near the termal spa of Allevard. It is in Belledonne area of the Isere department in the Northern Alps

As you head up the mountain you will see the traditional rustic stone and wood houses and once you have reached the hamlet of Charmaix you will discover Valfrejus - a new resort built for skiing and hiking. New it may be but it is situated in the forest and they have tried to be sympathetic, keep some charm and pedestrianise areas.

Description: Family orientated and a little quiet, Grachen is set amongst a beautiful landscape. The village is at 1600m and is on the backside of the Matterhorn, although the famous mountain can't be see from the village.
